Mr. Sanjay Kumar Nirmal brings over 41 years of leadership experience in the road and highway sector. He is a former Director General (Road Development) & Special Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, and former Secretary General, Indian Roads Congress.
An alumnus of MNIT Jaipur, Technical University of Delft, The Netherlands, and University of Rajasthan, he holds qualifications in Civil Engineering, Road Engineering, and Management, along with a Diploma in French.
His career spans senior roles in Engineers India Limited, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, and National Highways Authority of India, where he served as General Manager and Chief General Manager. He has played a pivotal role in national highway development, policy formulation, and institutional capacity building.
